Most Popular Acuvue Contact Lenses
1-Day Acuvue
1 Day Acuvue contact lenses are daily disposable soft contacts. They
offer the greatest convenience in contact lenses, whereby lenses are
worn for one day then discarded. This is typically considered the
healthiest way to wear contact lenses, due to the lack of protein
buildup on the lenses that can contribute to eye irritation. They can be
worn as full or part time wear lenses, offer excellent UV blocking, and
require no cleaning regiment. These lenses are sold 30 per box, and are
immersed in a buffered saline solution.
Acuvue
Acuvue contacts were the world's first disposable lenses. These lenses
are 1-2 week disposable contacts, offering the convenience of one week
extended wear. This enables a wearer to keep these lenses in for 7 days,
and even sleep with them in, then discard after 7 days of wear. They can
also be worn as 2 week daily wear lenses, whereby the contacts are
removed nightly before bed. They are manufactured using a very thin
design that permits large quantities of oxygen to reach the eye over a 7
day period, keeping the eyes moist and comfortable. In addition, as a
result of the lenses being made mostly of water, they work very well
with the natural fluids present in the eyes. These lenses feature an
inside-out mark for easy insertion, high UV blocking, and are sold 6
lenses per box, immersed in a
buffered saline solution. Note that the tint of these lenses does not
change eye color, but instead facilitates easier handling.
Acuvue 2
Acuvue 2 contact lenses are designed as two week daily wear lenses, but
can also be worn as 1 week extended wear contacts. Research suggests
that 70% of people who wear Acuvue 2 lenses have greater than 20/20
vision. These lenses offer UV protection, and are tinted for easier
handling. They are sold 6 lenses per box, immersed in a buffered saline
solution.
Acuvue 2 Colours
Johnson & Johnson's Acuvue 2 Colours contacts let you change eye color
without any sacrifice to vision. These lenses are 1-2 week disposable
soft contacts, and are designed with a color enhancing layer to provide
very vivid, natural color change. As with regular Acuvue 2 contacts,
Colors offer the same ultra thin design, and are made mostly of water,
leading to a very natural, comfortable feel and fit. The lenses are sold
6 per box, immersed in a buffered saline solution. Colors available

the lenses are constructed with five invisible, concentric zones that
provide crisp vision at varying distances, negating the need to choose
what part of the lens to use when seeing distances. They offer and
inside-out indicator and visibility tint for easy handling, UV blocking,
and flexible wear schedules. These lenses are sold 6 per box, immersed
in a buffered saline solution.
